Originally a native of Leitrim, Frank has been living with his family in Kildare for over a decade. From a young age he has been actively involved in politics and joined the Sligo IT Fianna Fáil Cumann in 1989 whilst at college. Moving to Kildare, he immediately became involved in the community. He also served as the party’s Director of Elections for Kildare North during the very successful 2007 general election.
Aside from his council work, Frank is employed by Irish Tar and Bitumen Suppliers acting as Head of Operations. He has worked with this organisation for 15 years. He is also a keen sports fan following hurling and Gaelic football.
Frank is now living in Celbridge with his wife and daughter. He has a strong understanding of the many challenges that families are facing in the current climate and is committed to working with the communities of Celbridge, Straffan, Ardclough, Maynooth and Leixlip to secure the best possible support and improvements for our communities.
